The Lady Bulldogs took on the Greensburg Lady Pirates and suffered a 25-19, 25-21 and 26-24 loss.
The Lady Bulldogs were without starting setter Kylie Laker who injured her ankle against the Wildcats last week. “It is hard to overcome losing our captain who runs the floor, but varsity put up a great fight and I am very proud of them,” head coach Kateri Paul commented.
Regina Gerstbauer filled in the setting role and did a super job in her first varsity start as a setter, according to Paul. Laney Walsman put together a solid serving performance while Cayman Werner was a force at the net. “We just had too many unforced errors with their great blocking that caused the Bulldogs to come up empty,” she added.
