The Batesville High School varsity football team suffered a 42-28 loss at home to the Greensburg Pirates.

The Bulldogs were able to move the ball on the Pirates.

Austin Pohlman carried the ball 17 times for 84 yards, while Travis Lecher rushed the same number of times for 40 yards. Lecher had a good night passing for the Bulldogs. He was 8-of-14 for 169 yards and two touchdowns. Kurt Siefert was his primary target with six receptions for 91 yards. Trey Peters caught two passes and they were both for touchdowns.

Defensively, Trenton Roell had an interception and Chase Hamilton recovered a fumble. Colt Swingle was credited with a blocked punt.
