Both the men’s and the women’s Batesville Bulldog track teams as they opened their season with victories at home against the Greensburg Pirates.

The Bulldogs started out the night with victories in the first relay (4 x 800) and also ended the night with a double victory in the 4 x 400m relay. The ladies beat the Pirates by just 12 points 72-60, while the guys won convincingly 98-34.

There were 15 individual first place winners for the Bulldogs and they won all the relay events. Individuals that brought home a blue ribbon were:
