The Batesville girls C-Team defeated Madison last night by a score of 32-24.
The Lady Bulldogs had a slow start and went into halftime down 15-7. The second half was a different story as they put up 25 points to Madison’s nine.
Batesville was led by freshman Claire Saner scoring 17 points and was 5 for 5 from the free throw line. Overall, the Lady Bulldogs shot 87-percent from the line. Other scorers were Madelyn Pohlman (4) and Madison Wanstrath (4), Lizzy Nobbe (3), Rhea Miller (2) and Ava Hanson (2).
