The Batesville varsity tennis team defeated Lawrenceburg by a score of 5-0 on Thursday.

Lleyton Ratcliffe, Cael Rahe and Jaden Smith won in singles. The doubles teams of Max Giesting/Sam Voegele and Jackson Tracy/Hank Ritter also won.

In JV action, Batesville won 5-0. Lyle Oesterling, Alec Bunselmeier and Chase Schwegman won in singles along with the doubles teams of Cole Pride/Sam Johnson, Jackson Wanstrath/Landon Oldham.

Batesville is 4-4 on the season and 4-1 in the EIAC.
