Two BHS runners advance to IHSAA State Finals

The Shelbyville Semistate consisted of 20 teams and 40 individuals from four other regionals, which translates to a field of approximately 180 runners. “I cannot remember a more miserable running conditions for a cross country tournament than Saturday morning was, ” BHS head coach Lisa Gausman commented.  “What a wet, cold and windy morning.”

BHS runners place third at regional

The Batesville High School boys cross country team placed third at the Franklin Regional with a team score of 84 points. Center Grove won the team title with a score of 31 followed by Franklin Community in second with 60 points.  Whiteland was 4th place at 123 points and Greenwood finished out the top five

Lady Bulldogs win regional title

The Batesville High School girls cross country captured the team title at the Franklin Sectional. The Lady Bulldogs finished with a team score of 53 points, which was 31 points better then second place Center Grove. Whiteland was third with 92 points followed by Franklin with 101. The Lady Bulldogs were led by Lily Pinckley
