The Batesville High School varsity and junior varsity softball games scheduled for tonight (4/6/15) have been moved to Rushville. The varsity game will start at 5:30 p.m. with the junior varsity to follow. The games originally scheduled on May 8 at Rushville will now be played at Batesville.

The Batesville High School boys varsity basketball team advanced to the Class 3A sectional finals at Greensburg with victories on Franklin County and South Dearborn. Hanover College’s Wes McKinney (Batesville) has received special recognition by the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. The freshman forward has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year.
