Batesville High School sophomore Emma Weiler made a return trip to the IHSAA Golf State Finals on Friday and Saturday at Prairie View Golf Course in Carmel.
The BHS golfer finished the two-day event tied for 11th place with a score of 157. She carded an 18-hole score of 77 on Friday and followed up with an 80 on Saturday.
Her 157 was equal to Caroline Whallon of Noblesville and Nathaly Munnicha of Columbus North. Lapel’s Macy Beeson won the individual state title with a combined score of 146. Weiler was paired the state champion on Saturday.
Weiler’s efforts throughout the season and on Saturday earned All-State honors for a second straight season.
