The Batesville High School boys cross country team placed third at the Franklin Regional with a team score of 84 points.

Center Grove won the team title with a score of 31 followed by Franklin Community in second with 60 points.  Whiteland was 4th place at 123 points and Greenwood finished out the top five to advance to semistate with 156 points.

The Bulldogs were led by senior Adam Moster in sixth place and a personal best time of 16:15.  Also being named to the All-Regional team were Ean Loichinger in 10th (16:34) and Joshua Myers in 15th (16:49). Benjamin Moster was close in 24th place (17:26). Daren Smith was next in line in 36th (17:47).  Dillon Murray was the sixth runner to cross the finish line for the Bulldogs in 44th spot (18:08) followed closely by Nathan Villani in 46th and running a personal best of 18:11.
