Batesville traveled to Franklin Community High School for a junior varsity soccer match and suffered a close 2-1 loss.
Franklin took a 1-0 lead with 7:42 remaining in the first half.
With just 57 seconds remaining in the first half, a poor clearance by the opposing keeper went straight to Manav Patel who played a pass to Oscar Camarena to even the scoring at 1-1.
Franklin scored the eventual game-winner at the 24:20 mark in the second half.
