Meet Recap

It was a beautiful night for a track meet as the Bulldogs hosted a 4-way meet against Jac-Cen-Del, Hauser and North Decatur. Both the boys and girls came out victorious.

The boys only lost three events of the night scoring 125 points. Second place was
close, but North Decatur pulled ahead with 38.5 points, followed by Hauser-34.5 and JCD-32.

The girls won all but five events will with a final score of 102 points. Second place went to North Decatur with 55 points, followed by JCD-47 and Hauser-29.

A highlight for the night came in the middle of the meet as another school record was broken, bringing the total to four already this season. Garrett Wagner dominated the 300m hurdles almost five seconds in front of the rest of the field. He cruised through at 39.49, just breaking the old record set by Peter Heil in 2015 at 39.55.
