Meet Recap

The Batesville Bulldogs won a tri-meet at Milan scoring 105 points. Milan finished with 90 points followed by Lawrenceburg with 63.

Elliot Main was the lone individual event winner for the Bulldogs. He took first in both the 200 and 100 yard freestyle events.

Batesville was well balanced in the other events, according to coach TJ Greene. Spencer Johnson was third in the 200 freestyle. Nathan Hall and Drake Main were second and third respectively in the 200 individual medley. Harsh Patel was third in the 50 yard freestyle. The Bulldogs again went second and third in the 100 yard butterfly with Hall and Caleb Rogers. Patel (2nd) and Damien Pelo went 2-3 in the 500 yard freestyle. Drake Main was second in the 100 backstroke and Pelo was second in the 100 yard butterfly.

Four swimmers swam to personal best times. Hall (200 IM), Johnson (200 free, 100 free), Elliot Main (200 free), Patel (500 free) each had their best career swims.

The boys improved to 10-14-1 on the season (5-8-1 non-conference, 5-6-EIAC).
