Game Recap

The Batesville Bulldogs JV boys soccer team was looking to get back to its winning ways Tuesday night as they traveled to Aurora to take on the South Dearborn Knights.

The teams played one 40 minute half was played and the Bulldogs triumphed by a score of 4-0.

Scoring goals for the Bulldogs were Miles Bowser, Oscar Camarena, Gabe Straub and Michael Ripperger.

“From goalkeeper to striker, Batesville did a magnificent job of maintaining possession and playing accurate passes,” BHS coach Josh Meyer commented. “After a lackluster showing in our last game against Lawrenceburg, tonight’s game was a complete turnaround.

“The performance by every player on the pitch tonight was exactly what we wanted to see. The intensity and communication were very good, and our passing movements were great.
This was a fantastic performance by the whole team, and one that we will be looking to build off of moving forward,” he added.
