Game Recap

The Batesville High School freshman football team opened the season wit a 16-12 win on the road at Jennings County.
Trey Heidlage connected with Devin Scripture for a 2-yard touchdown with six minutes remaining in the fourth quarter to give the Bulldogs the lead. Heidlage scored the two-point conversion for BHS.
The first score of the game for the Bulldogs came in the first quarter. Heidlage rushed from five yards out and added the two-point conversion.
Stephanie Nobbe and Danny Aylor also ran the ball well for the Bulldogs, according to coach Eric Feller.
Defensively, Heidlage and Luke Belter led the team, according to the coach. He also credited Alex Plemons and Austin Siefert with good outings.
