The Batesville Bulldog cross country team opened up their 2018 season with a new race added to their schedule. They traveled over two hours and competed in the Valley Kickoff Meet in Terre Haute at the LaVern Gibson NCAA Championship Course, which also happens to be the high school State Course. The Batesville boys tennis team defeated Madison by a score of 5-0 on Monday to open their season. Lleyton Ratcliffe, Sam Giesting, and Adam Scott won in singles. In doubles, the teams of George Ritter/Cooper Williams and Ben Rodgers/Brayden Worthington were also winners. In JV matches, Sam Voegele and Seth Gausman were both winners.
